Born in Alexandria,VA and raised in Clinton, MD, Moki has had her fair share of lighting experiences. From working at the Clarice Performing Arts Center at the University of Maryland as an undergraduate Electrician, to helping friends & family find just the right bulb to help ‘set the mood’, lighting has always been at the forefront of their social experiences. With 3+ years of experience working in Regional Theaters in Arlington,Tysons Corner, & Washington DC they fell more in love with lighting and it’s transformative ability to help aid in storytelling practices. As a member of the DC electrician community, Moki is always ready to contribute their perspective and skill set to new teams & spaces.
